(523) Changes in Testosterone Levels in Patients with Erectile Function

Abstract Introduction Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a disease that affects approximately 20% of adult men. Androgen deficiency one the organic etiologies described for this sexual dysfunction. Objective To estimate frequency alterations in sex hormone binding globuline (SHBG), total testosterone (TT), calculated free (FT) and bioavailable (BT) Spanish men with clinical diagnosis erectile Madrid, Spain. Patients methods Cross-sectional study. Men over 18 years age score international index function (IIEF-EF) < 26 were included. Serum levels SHBG, TT, TL TB evaluated proportion was estimated. hormonal defined as: a) serum <2.49 ng/mL TT under 50 <1.93 or older; b) value <2% testosterone; c) <40% d) SHBG >54.1 nmol/L younger than >76.7 older.
